It proudly bears the name of the French (or even world) capital of cutlery where it must be made and is adorned with a guilloche pattern, a set of lines and strokes that intertwine on the spine of the stainless steel blade. The retractable blade, engraved with the inscription "Le Thiers," fits inside the handle thanks to a forced locking system. The Le Thiers knife is hand-assembled by local craftsmen with known and recognized expertise dating back several centuries. It represents the legacy of a long cutlery tradition dating back more than six centuries. Its manufacture meets certain very precise standards inherited from the Brotherhood of Thiers Knives (see know-how).
