Know-how

We guarantee you an authentic cauldron cooking method and a traditional composition from exclusively vegetable raw materials (72% olive oil) without additives, colorants, perfumes or preservatives. Soap made in an artisanal workshop following four distinct phases. 1/ The impasto which consists of creating a soap paste by reacting a base with olive oil. 2/ The salting out, phase during which salty detergents are added to make the soap insoluble in water and clean the base of all its impurities. 3/ The cooking which allows the saponification of all the oils. 4/ The liquidation on fat, the last phase specific to Marseille soap which consists of adding water abundantly in order to make the soap liquid so that it rejects a darker paste loaded with glycerin and impurities. The remaining soap is pure then poured before drying for a month.
