Each of our harvest baskets is handcrafted using artisanal know-how passed down from generation to generation. They are assembled with particular care by craftsmen from design to manufacturing. They are exceptionally durable because they are made from wire that is particularly resistant to traction, rust, and wear over time. This high-quality wire is then hot-dip galvanized in a wire drawing mill to become galvanized wire: a wire that is fully protected both outside and inside, particularly against corrosion. A machine rotating at 300 revolutions per minute supports the work and gestures of craftsmen, starting with the frame and then the interior mesh. The openwork metal mesh allows air to circulate and prevents the harvest from being damaged. It is also an eco-friendly basket that is fully biodegradable. With their retro look that smells of the 1920s and recalls the baskets of yesteryear, they bring an aesthetic, original, and vintage touch to your interior. The official name for this type of basket is "Norman basket" coming from the fact that it was used extensively in the past for harvesting apples used to make cider.
