Soufflet the Bouffadou

This rustic "magic stick" is well known to the inhabitants of Lozère who once called it "the device for relighting the fire without burning your mustaches." Legend even says that it was invented a long time ago in the forests of Gévaudan by a witch named Bouffanelle! An ancestor of the bellows, the bouffadou is a traditional craft instrument for stirring up embers without scattering ashes or burning yourself and keeping the fire alive. Made of pine wood, it is carved along its entire length and blown gently. It will naturally find its place in your home and near all fireplaces! With a length of approximately 80 cm, this bellows has been handcrafted by a craftsman in the purest tradition.
